Life post ovary

Life post ovary has been interesting. Kelli is recovering well. we have been taking it easy for the most part. We have been playing board games, sleeping and trying not to over do it.

Baby with her sock monkey

We did got to the park yesterday and throw the ball around a little and pants even hit a few home runs.

My friend recently had a birthday so I spent the weekend with them celebrating. We ate out, drank, danced and watched horror movies. All in all a great weekend and fun was had by all who joined in the festivities. I had amazing Mexican food, drank a few to many AMF'S and was sore for days from dancing.

Ready to hit the dance floor

Pants had been doing some up keep on the car recently. We changed the wiper blades, and are working on changing the headlights. Good old tawanda still has ass and is running as good as ever. She was my first car that I payed off. I am glad she is still in the family.

Recently I have been trying to get out more and take photos with my new camera. I have been spending more time in down town Portland and have run into some very interesting charters whilst looking for good photo opportunities. below are some of the most recent ones.

some things make you realize how imp loved ortant people are to you

Funny faces at Shari's
Baby love in the ER doped to the nines with her new hat.
Life was going pretty good for Kelli, pants and I.Were were working out jobs and entertaining ourselves with rock hunting, skating and what ever else sounded good. The other night Kelli was really in the mood for greasy breakfast food so off we went to shari's in search of her craving., We had a lovely greasy meal and set off to see what the night held. I went out and spent some time with my good friend Juan. We had a lovely time eating Philly subs, drinking wine and listening to Jazz. Kelli stayed home and watched movies. It was a good time for all of us. My schedule was switched to grave yards for the week so it looked as though Kelli and I would not be seeing much of each other. To make it even more challenging I was on call this last weekend so we were not really able to spend anytime with each other. But we did have a lovely night of good willing and scored some really good stuff. I worked graves on Monday night. When I got home Kelli was curled up in bed in an a lot of pain. I did the rebound pain test and she just about punched me. After some strong arming from pants we were off for another family trip to the ER. Her labs came back normal after dome pushing on my part he agreed to do a CAT scan. They found that her appendix was fine but that she did have an Ovarian cyst that was 4 inches in length. They then took her down to ultra sound to see if it was cutting off blood supply. Portland mom, and pants were there to keep us company and support Kelli. While it was a very long day of waiting we made it fun with jokes, laughter, knitting and many other things. Finally they sent in an OB consult. After a little pushing and talking she deiced that emergency surgery was the best way to go. Kelli and I are so lucky we have a great support system here. Portland Mom, Pants, and our sister Melissa all spent the next day in the hospital with me keeping us company and making us laugh. The night we spent in the hospital was as always sleepless people in and out an  machines beeping. My mom and les called to check on us as well no matter how far away My mom is still my strength and I know I can count on her when ever I need her as well as my Da Les. The surgery went well they removed her right ovary and Fallopian tube. They also did a DNC. She came out very tired but we were discharged tonight. I brought her home and got her settled in the bed. I have established a med schedule to ensure that we keep her out of severe pain. She is currently in a drug coma. I am encouraging fluids and watching her close. Thanks to all who prayed, sent good vibes and supported us during this event. One of the best parts of the friends visiting was one of my best friend brought her son Cale by to visit Kelli it really made her day.

Best behaved child ever Kelli was soooo excited to see him!!

A also loves the way I use the word Panda all the time so she bought me a super cute pair of panda gloves it was a great end to a super long two days!! THANK YOU A !!!! I love and adore you my best friend!!!

Pants in the book store

Kelli in the store.
Yesterday my car decided to crap out on our way back from spending the afternoon with Portland mom. As part of our Chrisolstacemas presents she took us to powells book store and gave us a spending limit and set us loose. For pants Powells is like a crack house full of her favorite drug... Books! She made sure to lead Kelli and I to the place we need to go to find out own fix. I obtained three new slightly used books Kelli got two and pants got three. We were as happy as kids in a candy store we were having a lovely family outing.

After the book store we decided we wanted voodoo doughnuts. Now you may never have heard of them but they are some of the best doughnuts in the world!! Trust me they are amazing we again stood like kids in the candy store awaiting our well candy. we picked from the two spinning cases the delightful delicacies that were to ours. We then sat and devoured at least one of our freshly chosen doughnuts.

Voodoo doughnuts good things do come in pink boxes!
We then left to head back to Portland moms house she was going to nap for a while at her house, and I was going to cook dinner at our place and she was going to join us. As we were driving home all of a sudden the car thermostat shot to hot and an alarm went off. I pulled off to the side of the road. Pants and Kelli got out to investigate what could be the potential problem. It was radiator related.. That much we knew. We gave it some time to cool off and attempted to head home. With in seconds it was hot again. SO we added some fluid a whole jug and started off again. While sitting at a stop light we heard a glug glug glug sound. Long story short  and one tow truck ride later the bottom of my radiator blew off. So that is going to cost a pretty penny. I decided to make dinner any how. Baked chicken thighs, stuffed mushrooms and mashed potatoes.
Me cooking

Mushrooms ready to go in the oven.

Dinner turned out very good. After a long some what traumatizing day we sat down as a family and had dinner. It was supper yummy. It made me thing of my mom and when she makes my favorite comfort food for me. There is something about cooking for others you can't help but put your love and essence in it. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing knowing we all had to work the next day.

On Saturday we decided to go rock hunting. All three of us are rock hounds and Kelli recently found some new places for us to go check out. Off we went the tree little lesbians layered to stay warm. We piled into the PT and listened to Pinks new album me singing at the top of my lungs.

Today dawned cold, wet and grey. Pants is allowing me to drive her car until mine is fixed. All day today it was one thing or another. I am getting tired of people who create their own drama and then want to complain  to me about the shit storm they have created. I feel as if I am working in a negative on going circle of complaints, back stabbing, drama, being targeted, being lied about and oh so much more dysfunction. I keep trying to tell my self that if I can just weather the storms I will be okay...... What do you do when the storms are every day and you are stuck in the environment due to needing the rate of pay and insurance? I have tried to obtain other employment but I am either over qualified or under due to not having a degree. The job market sucks!! So I made it through another storm, another Monday and am looking forward to pants and Kelli getting home from school so that we can have some love, laughter and family time!!

New piece

A piece that just sold.
We deiced that we were going to have a nice quiet evening at home. Perhaps a few drinks and then off to bed. At that was how it started..... First there was two... then there was three. As pants sat silently on the couch reading and Kelli and I were in the room watching TV I realized it was really here. 2013. Hopefully the year that we start our family, get better job, my jewelry starts selling more. There is so much promise the year is fresh and UN tainted. I did not want to move or think.... I just wanted to freeze frame it. So fresh and new. Then I cam back down to earth and deiced I was hungry. After much debate and some account checking we decide on our go to place for dinner. Apple Bee's. How can you you beat an appetizer and two steaks with mashed taters and veggies for twenty bucks plus tax..???  (you can't) So we all dressed to be seen in the out side world... IE put on hats and coats and piled into raven and we were off on our first family adventure of 2013. I like to call our outings adventures cause with us you never know what will happen. Apple bees was fairly slow. Every one had moved on with there evenings by the time we got there. We ordered our usual and sat talking, laughing and having fun family time until our orders arrived. We ate laughed  some more and hand a brilliant time. it was the best way to bring in the new year... The next day the store where I sell my jewelry called and said they had sold a bunch and need more pieces ASAP. So far 2013 is going great!!

The next big event in life for me was Chrissolsticemas. I had to spend the day at work but it was a nice relaxed day. No schedule to follow just hanging out with the people I serve. The Sunday before Chrisssolsticmas we met at Moms house due to a conflict in schedules. We had a great dinner of some sort of apple cider shredded pork. baked potatoes, salad, and bread. We opened our gifts and sat laughing with a warm fire going in the fire place. we also went shopping for my big present Portland mom and the family deiced to buy me a new camera for chrissolsticemas. We found a nice one at costco for a decent price and off we went. Then we had Our little family christsolsticemas. Pants, Kelli and I. We did the stockings then the presents. The tree was all light up, we were full from dinner and happy with all the love, family time and presents that had been shared. I really felt blessed. I have an amazing wife who loves me and is currently sitting next to me in bed while I write this feeding me cake. My best friend pants who started out as a lover and ended up being my family in a completely different way. She currently has a cold and is doped up on the cold meds we brought home for her. I have Portland mom who is great in her own way at showing the three of us her love in her own way. Chris and Melissa, the kids and a huge group of friends. I have a job where I get to go hang out with great adults that need a little help. In 2013 I am going to start adding to my family tree cause bent or broken it's a family tree. I have also been lucky enough to find a creative outlet for my self. Making my jewelry allows me to express what eve I am feeling that day. I can not believe the things that have poured out of me. I am also able to make a small amount of money each month by selling in a local store and on etsy. You can find my shop on etsy.com search tripplemoondesigns (shameless plug).  All in all 2012  has been a great year. Marriage, job changes, life changes, family changes and so much more...

Fast forward to where I am now......

Mom doing the wedding.
So I have found love. This time last year I did not think I would be married and looking at starting a family. Kelli is amazing. She makes me laugh and I know that no matter what she will always be there. Life finds me still working the same job that I have been trying to escape for years...... I keep saying when the time is right.Well folks that time is coming. Kelli and I live with Mary who from here on out will be referred to as pants. Kelli and pants are in school for pharmacy tech. Once they are done and have established themselves in better paying jobs I get to quit mine!! SO the wedding..... It really was the best day of my life.  There were lots of friends and family who came to wish us well. Mom and dad even flew over from England. The wedding was held at the p:ear gallery. It was a lovely ceremony that my mother officiated.  So now I am a married woman. I did not think I was going to feel any different but I do. Saying those words and professing my love in front of every one really did change how I felt. I get say I am married..... I have a wife.... I look down and see my ring and can't help but smile. I am reminded that there is some one out there that loves me just the way I am. SO the next journey on this path known as my life is starting a family. We have deiced that we are going to start trying in January or February. That is right soon there might be a mini combination of Kelli and I running around. Every keeps asking are in the right place, is it the right time? Here is my question If you keep waiting for the right time and it never comes then what do you do? What if you just grab the hands of the ones you love and leap into life? I am lucky to have a great support system, wonderful parents in England, a great adopted Mom in Portland, and friends who I know I can count on. SO folks in January or February I am grabbing the hands of those I love who support me and I am leaping into the life of hoping to be a mother.

Back trackin a bit.

So I moved out of my Home in Portland into a home in Vancouver with my partner. I was on cloud nine! I had a job I loved, a partner I loved, a home, and I was rebuilding my life. Things went well for a while... Lady H had brain cancer. I knew this when I entered into a relationship with her. I know some of you are asking why would I do it....? Looking back I loved her, and I loved to be needed. We lived happily but eventually it all got to be too much. I began to be her care provider rather then her partner. We stopped being intimate, and she withdrew from me not wanting me to get hurt. I dove even deeper into work as a way to cope with everything I was not willing to look at. This made me great at my job but not such a good partner. Rab was getting ready to turn 29 so of course we must go to the bar and drink copious amounts of booze to celebrate her being here! We started a bit early in the day with a designated driver all worked out the party was in full swing by the time we hit the E room. Rabs boss, wife, and his sister would be joining us as well as Rabs new girlfriend C. The drinks were flowing and we were having a grand time. Then the most amazingly hot butch walked into the bar.... And she was heading for our table. It was her bosses sister.. I was immediately attracted. She was shy, and intelligent, made me laugh, made me feel like something was alive in side of me. I had a partner so the evening was kept to small talk, some light flirting and a whole lot of thoughts going through my mind. I will admit I did leave  the bar with her number. Rab had puked and was now requesting Jack in the box so it was time to bid the evening farewell. We went back to her house and crashed I woke up the next morning thinking I needed to seriously look at my life. If I have a partner I should not be attracted to other women, let alone leaving the bar with their number. What was I thinking? I was not thinking I was trying to yet again block out every thing that had happened over the past three years. My mom getting sick with cancer, dropping out of school to take care of her, leaving my family in Eugene, moving to Portland, taking on a partner with terminal brain cancer, moving up in my company to a management position. I was searching for something I just was not sure what it was...... I drove back to Vancouver that afternoon with thoughts racing through my head... where was my life going?
